Runekeep - The lost server Options

I joined in the beginning of 2009 by the username of "2009." At the time, there were many-over 100- players online at one time. Now It is a piece of junk with only 20- some players. The members of Runekeep need to vote for this server. I can tell it has a big future. I've been beta testing the Runekeep HD server and it is looking good. You guys need to vote. That is all.

dude, when the 508 client is released it would get a whole lot amount of players, back on this game.

The site and the server will more than take off once the 508 is released; voting will recommence and our player count should also rise dramatically. Dont get me wrong, I agree with the 20- players, but I just don't see the point starting now with the 317 when the new server will be more successful. Let's just wait.

You're right, it will. But we need to get a jump-start by voting. I mean, I'm not trying to be some big figure here. Nor am I trying to earn points with the staff. I really had some fun times on this server back when I played. Met some great people, and learned about runescape servers.

Yeah, RuneKeep has become a lost server. I barely go on, when I first registered, there used to be like 50 players on the forums and over 100 players on the server. Now, you would see 6 players on the forums and 20 players on the server tops.

This server no longer offers anything to members. Thus the reason it died.

It will most likely never recover to what it once was.

And just an fyi, 317's are more heavily populated than 508's.

also i have noticed tht rk is dieing and i keep hearing this new 508 servers gonna give us new life but rnt there like 100s of 508 servers out there whats gonna make ares so special besides haste??

There is no point of waiting till the 508 is done.
and how do you know that the 508 will get us more ppl.
i think what proto says is right we need to vote we need to advertise.
Maybe haste could do an competition who gets the most players for this server/forum.

As ive posted on many forums over the past week or so, Bambam and Haste have removed ALL advertisements that were posted on "top sites" etc like moparscapes top servers.

They will be re added once the 508 comes out, just wait... Things will slow down before they speed back up, there is a point in waiting.

Yes, I believe all stats will be carried over. If you search through the news announcement about the 508, you should find it somewhere. It's buried deep in my memory .

I have to say it was a rad server. Population is everything in private servers. Most players play runescape private servers for the Player vs. Player feature. In which, the amount of players takes a big part of.
In my opinion, if everyone votes and welcomes new players fondly, they will stay. Hence the buildup of the population, which eventually means better Player vs. Player, which in turn means even more population.

Does Runekeep still have that pking place in the deep wilderness for donators? That was a genius idea.
Playing the Pickup Server at that place was amazing. And small things like the "Scoreboard" that makes players want to keep playing and work to the top. Good luck, Runekeep.

but i do miss the old days and hope tht the new 508 will carry things along and the bad people of this community will be gone soon after the 508 is out

for a lot of motives this site is dieing ..

1. as it's based on devo v7, theres not much things to do, it is almost a blank source, normal, etc
2. no news, or updates..
3. a lot of players quitted
4. most of the legends here are banned, hahaha, just kidding now... lol
5. no minigames, funny things
6. few donors things
and im pretty sure you know more motives ... rk is always dieing .. :S

what i said above doesnt means im angry with rk or anything like this i just said my opnion .. by the way i still love rk lol

In my opinion, the HD server will be a big enough update to make up for all that time... If you have been on it you will know why .
